Partnership With Nicaragua is Successful and Growing!

Partnered with the health care system
of
Managua in order to create a fully
functioning cardiac surgery center with adjacent Cardiac Intensive Care Unit
for the people of
Nicaragua.

Shipped a 40-foot container of
pediatric medical supplies.

Have partnered with the First Lady of
Nicaragua in order to reduce the number of woman in
Nicaragua who are affected by
cervical cancer. Two ambulances were donated by American Medical Response
(and outfitted as mobile clinics by MRF) in order to bring preventative care
to rural women.

Donated a large supply of firefighter
turnouts (thermal protective wear) for the Managua Fire Department.

Sponsored the transport to
California, housing, treatment and
surgery for a twelve year old Nicaraguan girl who needed definitive care for
debilitating cardiac condition. The condition was corrected and she is now
doing wonderfully.
